products: tree of lifetree of life ceramic tile mosaic, maple tree ceramic tile designs, oak tree tiles, japanese maple tree shaped tiles designs, and more! The Tree of Life dates back to the time of the Garden of Eden. It's the tree that stood in the center of "The Garden of the Lord." It was the source of eternal life and blessings. In Ezekiel 47:12, it mentions that "the trees whose ‘fruit will be for food and their leaves for healing’."
"The Hands of God"I AM happy to announce this beautiful new ceramic tile tree of life "The Hands of God." I would like to thank my client; Chris Summers for her patience waiting for her order, and the fantastic finished installation pictures. Father's beauty is everywhere around us. He IS, and IS IN EVERYTHING; the earth, water, air, and fire." He is the energy that comprises our blessed planet Gaia, and most importantly, He in all of us. Stand in His presence, swim in His glory, breath Him in, and let His fire burn within your heart. We are truly one when we invite God within us; I know I AM. In some cultures, the tree of life represents the evolutionary divergence of all living creatures. I like to think of a tree of life ceramic tile mural as God's loving arms reaching unto His children. No matter how you look at it, the Tree of Life is a beautiful way to express that everything on earth is "one" and reliant upon each other; so embrace it and its beauty.
This kitchen sink back splash ceramic tile design perfectly posed behind a sink/vessel, comes alive when installed; just like when our soul enters our vessel at birth. Please take a moment and carefully look at the two pictures below. The mosaic tile tree of life on the left is the studio layout, prior to shipping; without grout. The one on the right is the finished installation with grout. Now, look closer at the picture to the right; you might notice that there are multiple colors of grout used in the finished installation. This completes the "painting" of this mural. Grout just isn't something that holds the tiles together, but is the "paint" that binds a mosaic tile mural.
Japanese Maple Tree of Life - "Hands of God"This mosaic tile Tree of Life is made up of individual shaped tiles that comprise a Japanese Maple tree ceramic tile mosaic. It stands strong, but alone in a green pasture with a flowing stream beneath it. Just like our beautiful planet and the people that inhabit it, everything is custom made. Your stream can even have fish swimming in it. The sky and tiled stream / creek use a blue tile grout in different degrees of intensity, and the grassy area uses a green ceramic tile grout to create unification by color and to create depth.
The next time you are thinking of ceramic tile for your home, think about a truly unique ceramic tile design that compliments the unique you. And remember, the unity of the whole is stronger than it's parts; just like us! maple, tree of life ceramic tile mosaic

Beautiful tree of life ceramic tile mosaic designThese are the coordinating bathroom floor tiles. 4x4 leaf tile mosaics were create to drop into the manufactured ceramic tile motifs.
tree of life coordinating 4x4 motifsThis Tree of Life ceramic tile mosaic shows a spreading White Oak tree. I used two different clay bases with the same ceramic tile glaze for the leaf tiles to achieve darks and lights. The ceramic tile tree has a bit of carving to convey the concept of bark. Around the tree tiles are small to medium round blue tiles in turquoise tones to express the sky. Beneath the tiled oak tree are some rock tiles and some round green tiles to signify the earth and create an anchor for the design.
This close up helps show some of the detail in the tree ceramic tile, leaf tiles, and rock tile. The ceramic tile glazes used on the ceramic tile leaves is called Candy Corn. It looks like two different colors, but is actually the same color. The clay base is the difference. One is off-white, and the other a tan. The transparent nature of this ceramic tile glaze allows the clay base to show through. this glaze has been discontinued by the manufacturer, but I stock piled it for years to come and for you to enjoy. A special thanks to Jeannine Rouleau for all of the great pictures of her tree of life bathroom and kitchen birds in leaves mosaic designs. You can also visit the Birds link for closeup pictures of the leaves and birds. Studio layout of a ceramic tile tree of life "God's Glory"weeping tree of life effectAnother lovely ceramic tile tree design is this weeping branch effect. Please note, I do not have a template of this specific leaf, so I can't duplicate it again. It was sent to me from a client from a tree in her lawn. Originally Dara wanted a tree of life, but I suggested this exquisite design. The structure of this tree was quite interesting; the branches hung downward and it was quite unique and worthy of duplicating in functional art.
This is the studio layout of the weeping branch ceramic tile tree leaf design. I would recommend that the grout be either a gray or a blue gray color to make the wavy sky tiles blend into the background and the tree branch tiles and ceramic tile leaves pop out from the design.
This picture better illustrates the detail in the branches of the tree ceramic tiles and the minute definition of the leaves. It also shows the varied / art glaze effect of the Western Glazes, Silver Green on the leaf tiles. Just beautiful! post oak, tree of life ceramic tile design
