Autumn is my favorite time of the year. Beautiful leaves are on the trees in an array of Fall colors—a feast for the eyes. I love to ride my horse in woods, take in the smell of freshly fallen leaves, and listen to the rustling of the leaves in the trees as they dance in the wind—it creates a peaceful place in my soul. It's in this setting where I conjure up some of my best ideas for my leaf tile designs.

The tile above shows how ceramic leaf tiles can be made to look as if they fell on a piece of stone by chiseling away the standard rectangular tile background into a truly unique design. And by applying a matt glaze for the background and a gloss glaze for the leaves, this tile obtains a beautiful contrast.

Our handmade ceramic tiles have a 1/4" flat base tile with 1/8" accent pieces adhered to the base ceramic tile, creating a raised relief ceramic tile.These ceramic tiles make a stunning ceramic tile backsplash and come in a variety of ceramic tile designs that you can mix and match.
