Our high-quality ceramic tiles are made in the USA, using the same materials as any other manufactured, square, floor tile like the ones you can purchase at ceramic tile stores and home improvement stores. The only difference is, our ceramic tiles are MUCH more unique ceramic tiles.

Our tiles are FULLY VITRIFIED. These do NOT decay over time like many decorative tiles.

Our warranty is 7 years with normal wear and tear. NY State considers a "Lifetime Warranty."

If you break the tiles during installation, I am not responsible for broken tiles. If you drop or drag a heavy object on ANY tile, they will chip or crack/break. I am not responsible for these types of defects.

NEVER walk on any tiles that have NOT been installed, even square, manufactured ceramic tiles, they WILL break.

If you install tiles outside on a driveway, sidewalk, patio, etc. in a cold climate and shovel snow off the tiles, they WILL chip. This is not my responsibility. ALL tiles will chip under these conditions.

CLEANING — I personally have tested my decorative ceramic tiles with all types of cleaners over the years. Bleach, toilet bowl cleaner, soft-scrub, glass cleaner, chemical wipes, shower cleaners, etc. This has not effect any of my tiles color or properties.

If ANY tiles are damaged during shipment, don't hesitate to contact us for replacement pieces. Just describe the tile to us over the telephone and we'll ship the replacements to you ASAP at no charge to you. With proper installation, your tiles should last for many generations.

NOTE: Some tiles might have to be returned due to the way pieces are tightly spaced and film mounted.

ALWAYS use a ceramic tile backer board on your wood sub-floors that is glued and screwed down to the wood. ALWAYS use a good quality ceramic tile mortar, preferable one with a polymer additive.

LOOSE TILE ORDERS

I am NOT responsible for shortage. About 98% of my orders are film mounted orders, loose trout, koi, and animal tracks. This information does NOT apply to these orders.

I measure all orders twice to assure your LOOSE tiles contain the square footage you request. When I measure the tiles, I arrange them so they are touching and overhang my square foot measuring area.

You have 30 days after shipment for returns or exchanges. Please look at, and measure, your loose tiles immediately upon receipt. This is a standard product return policy in most stores.

I ship very few loose mosaics per year, maybe one or two. When you receive your loose tiles, carefully unpack them and measure your tiles in a 12x12" area, stacking them on top of one another. That will show you your square footage. You should have slightly more than what you order. I do this to assure you have the correct square footage. Remember, do this in 30 days!

If you run out during an installation, you have to purchase more tile. I do not send free product. Be prepared to possibly wait, because I am working on 100's of SF of orders monthly.

ALWAYS order 10% overage on ALL loose tile orders. You WILL need extra because of tile placement, the last few pieces might not fit. If you are mixing my tiles with rocks, this might not be necessary.

NOTE: If you are new to mosaic tile design, I DO NOT recommend creating a large mosaic using my tiles and mixing them with other tiles. It's nearly impossible to judge the quantity of pieces that you need for a mosaic.

Ceramic Tile Repairs

Over the years, if a tile should become chipped by gouging the surface (a rock stuck in the sole of a shoe or dropping a heavy object on the surface), you can mix acrylic hobby paint, apply it to the tile with a small brush, let it dry, and dab a top coat of clear nail polish to hide the defect.

This technique also works well to repair tile that has cracked. First fill the crack with a silicone caulk. Let it dry and touch up the crack with a coordinating acrylic paint. Then topcoat with a clear nail polish.
