Studio layoutThis is a finished installation picture provided by Paul B. of Pittsburg, CA. It's one of two freshwater fish backsplashes in his families new kitchen.
Click the picture below for an enlargement of this freshwater fish / bass ceramic tile fish kitchen backsplash. This bass ceramic tile mosaic stove backsplash is so incredibly beautiful in person. The studio pictures just don't do it justice. If you look at the creek bottom, you can see a turtle tile, and a couple of crawfish ceramic tiles amongst some rocks and kelp-like ceramic tiles. Here is a close up of the bass tiles and bullrush / bull rush ceramic tiles, so you can see a bit of the glazing (coloration).
If you look closely at these bass-shaped ceramic tiles, you can see the detail of scales, making it a most realistic looking tile bass fish.
This is a close up picture of a turtle tile that sits at the bottom of this freshwater fish / bass mosaic tile kitchen backsplash / back splash. The picture below was the customer layout prior to me adding the glaze to the tiles and firing again to create the finished pieces.
I'm sorry, I don't have time to create color renderings on the computer or do drawings. I hand make each decorative ceramic tile from a block of clay. The tiles are not molded, but hand cut. I literally create 100's of 1000's of tiles each year. You might notice, if you compare the finished picture of the bass tiles above, that the cattail tiles / bull rush tiles and the bass ceramic tiles are in slightly different positions. I tend to change things up a bit as I work. This bass - shaped ceramic tile fish / ceramic tile bass is shown in an Moss Agate and white. It comes complete with scales and is approximately 4". That is the smallest size it can be made. You can have it up to 18".
Order Tiles with Style ceramic tile bass with or without squiggly / wavy water ceramic tile, OR mix them with some of your own broken manufactured ceramic tile pieces. Just remember to sand the edges of your broken ceramic tiles. This will save you band aids later when you wipe your hands over the sharp manufactured ceramic tile pieces.
