Studio layout

This example shows the functional / decorative alligator tile pond in my bathroom. This ceramic tile alligator / lily pond actually morphs from a salmon steam into an alligator / lily pond in our laundry area from the bathroom ceramic tile salmon floor shown below. The water is a steel blue tone with some electric blue ceramic tiles.

Today, where the salmon tile meets the tub, a remodel has occurred with a shower. Now the ceramic tile salmon stream morphs into the decorative ceramic tile shower floor where a smaller ceramic tile alligator / crocodile lurks in a marsh habitat. Water flows over the bridge between the shower and the bathroom floor, creating a ceramic tile waterfall.

This pictures shows a studio layout of our smaller baby ceramic tile alligators. They are approximately 3 feet in length from their tile alligator snouts to their tails. Two tile alligators are shown with two 8" turtle tiles, and a few lily pad tiles  and koi ceramic tiles.

One baby alligator ceramic tile makes a fantastic addition to the outer edge of a ceramic tile lily pond floor design.

This 3 foot ceramic tile alligator is glazed in Rain Forest and Moss Agate. I like this combination because the Moss Agate ceramic tile glazed creates more depth to the alligator tile by making it appear submerged.

If you are on a budget, purchase a 3' alligator tile, 3 small lily pad leaf tiles, and 2 medium lily pad leaves. Add in just a few round blue water tiles and you'll get the hint of the alligator being in a pond at a fraction of the cost of a small, medium, or large ceramic tile lily pond.
