The colors for the ceramic tile lily ponds of the Richard H. Rush Library were based on the colorations in several beautiful paintings that adorn the lovely plum walls in the gathering hall.

This is one of my favorite functional, yet decorative lily pond ceramic tile layouts in all of the Edison State College lily pond ceramic tile floors. It's very simple, void of ceramic tile flowers. The tile lily pads look very natural, not "placed." A few 6-8" ceramic tile Koi are casually gliding through wavy water tiles and the lily pad tile leaves. Smaller, 3" Koi tiles are hiding in the lily pad leaf tiles, awaiting their escape into the pond.
